Speedcubing Information

Notation uses number, letters and letter combinations to describe specific turns on a Rubik's Clock. The purpose of notation is to clearly and efficiently describe a move, an algorithm, or a scramble.

• Letters indicate which pins are UP.
• Numbers indicate how far to turn the dial corresponding to the UP pin.
• A plus (+) or minus (−) symbol shows the direction of the turn — clockwise or counterclockwise.
